چکیده

The experiment was carried out in Department of Plant Pathology, Dr Yashwant Singh Parmar University Horticulture and Forestry, Nauni, Solan, Himachal Pradesh, India during cropping season May to August year 2018–2019 study the efficacy fungal bacterial bio-control agents managing Fusarium wilt cucumber. Different were thus tested under laboratory conditions for their inhibiting mycelial growth oxysporum by using dual culture technique streak plate method, respectively. Among agents, Trichoderma harzianum found most effective with 61.08% inhibition F. followed virens 57.51% whereas, among maximum 45.69% observed Pseudomonas fluorescens. During season, seed, soil treatment bioagents field conditions. Seed application disease control 48.25% which is proved be efficacious 42% against

Efficacy of Different Bio Control Agents against Meloidogyne incognita and Fusarium oxysporum on Tomato

Tomato (Solanum lycopersicum L.) is one of the most popular vegetable crops grown in the world, next to potato. It is used as a fresh vegetable and also can be processed and canned as a paste, juice, sauce, powder or as a whole (Barone and Frusciante, 2007). The ripe fruits are good source of vitamin A, B and C which add wide varieties of colour and flavour to the food. Recently, it started gai...

The influence of different concentrations of bio-organic fertilizer on cucumber Fusarium wilt and soil microflora alterations

Fusarium wilt is one of the main diseases of cucumber, and bio-organic fertilizer has been used to control Fusarium wilt. In this study, a pot experiment was conducted to evaluate the effects of bio-organic fertilizer applied at four levels on the suppression of Fusarium wilt disease in cucumber, the soil physico-chemical properties and the microbial communities. In comparison with the control ...

Modified Primers for the Identification of Nonpathogenic Fusarium oxysporum Isolates That Have Biological Control Potential against Fusarium Wilt of Cucumber in Taiwan

Previous investigations demonstrated that Fusarium oxysporum (Fo), which is not pathogenic to cucumbers, could serve as a biological control agent for managing Fusarium wilt of cucumber caused by Fo f. sp. cucumerinum (Foc) in Taiwan. However, thus far it has not been possible to separate the populations of pathogenic Fo from the nonpathogenic isolates that have biological control potential thr...

Characterization of Novel Trichoderma asperellum Isolates to Select Effective Biocontrol Agents Against Tomato Fusarium Wilt

The use of novel isolates of Trichoderma with efficient antagonistic capacity against Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. lycopersici (FOL) is a promising alternative strategy to pesticides for tomato wilt management. We evaluated the antagonistic activity of 30 isolates of T. asperellum against 4 different isolates of FOL. The production of extracellular cell wall degrading enzymes of the antagonistic i...

Evaluation of biocontrol potential of Pseudomonas and Bacillus spp. against Fusarium wilt of chickpea

In this study, antagonistic effects of 6 isolates of Pseudomonas and 6 isolates of Bacillus genera isolated from rhizosphere of chickpea were evaluated against Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. ciceris as potential biocontrol agents in vitro and in vivo. Fungal inhibition tests were performed using plate assay. Each isolate were tested for the production of protease, siderophore, cyanide hydrogen, indo...
